Heading into Downtown L.A. for a gay pool party in a converted parking lot may not sound like it could be the best thing ever, but it is! SUMMERTRAMP was more than I could have ever dreamed of. $10 entry got you into one of the best pool parties I have ever attended, complete with water slides and floaties. All the fun and high energy of a Vegas party, minus the high prices and pretentious attitudes. It is rare that you go somewhere, and instantly know that you are free to be exactly who you are. No questions asked. Jello shots flow freely. Beers are $4 but bartenders were never shy to give a extra few beers to a pretty smile. Pop and techno beats were pumping, and everywhere you look people are dropping it low or engaging it some excellent dance offs. This was the last SUMMERTRAMP of the summer, and I already cannot wait until next year. This kiki was maaaaaarvelous!
